Korome's sire, Om, is a
strongly Babson and Early American Foundation
bred horse. He was shown etensiely in the
EAstern Townships and New England states by Jack
Dressler. He was undefeated in English Pleasure,
Western Pleasure and Halter. Om was a small
horse and Mr. Dressler always used him as a
prime example of his contention that the height
a horse could jump had nothing to do with his
size, but thier athletic ability and courage.
A breeding injury put an end to Korome's very
promising show career, but she seems to have
completely recovered and is used as a lesson
horse in the AES program. She is the dam of
the 2000 Tulip Show Junior Champion Gelding, Bee
Korbin and the 2001 colt, Silver Bee, who placed
2nd in his first show. The Cisco Bee won his
yearling class his first time out and continues
to be show in Sport Horse In Hand with his new
owner. Dandy is being trained for eventing and
showing loads of potential. |
