The Arabian
Mares of AES
& Cruz Alta
The mare is the foundation of a breeding program.
It is said that the dam contributes up to 60% of the genetic make up of her foal
and has incredible influence over its temperament and attitude. The
stallion is the "icing" and must compliment the mare to produce
a superior offspring. Individual mare pages are under construction, you
will be able to click on their names for more information about their
foals and accomplishments. Our mares are
available for breeding leases to either Cognac
Amberfyre or to a
stallion of your choice. Mares are to generally stay on the premises.

Amber
Kiera
(Hennessy
by Cognac x RL
Melissa by RL Witraz)
2004 , Grey Arabian Mare Kiera
has been allowed to grow up and mature. She was quite
flighty and reactive, but has matured into a lovely mare
and has started Distance riding by completing a 25 mile
ride spring 2011. Plans are to continue her career as an
Endurance horse in 2012 and start her in FEI rides. Kiera
is correct, big bodied, 15 hands and an elegant mover.
She has large expressive eyes and tries very hard to
please.

Cryztal-B
(Ibn
Bee x Cryztalgara)
2004 Black Arabian Mare
Cryztal
produced a fantastic colt for us by Cognac Amberfyre in
2010, Cognac Rising. He was purchased within 24 hours of
advertising him for sale and prior to weaning. He has
gone to an Endurance home and we are looking forward to
more of this cross.
Cryztal
is a sweet mare, a good 15 hands and big bodied. She has
been started under saddle and completed one 13 mile
training ride. She will continue in Distance riding in
2012 as well as bred back to Farley for a 2013 foal
which will be available for purchase.

Amberzhina
(Hennessy x
Penzhina)
2005 Chestnut Arabian Mare
Zhina
is a full sister to Cognac Amberfyre and yet they are
quite different in so many ways. She is very feminine
yet big bodied and lighter boned. She is typical of the
Hennessy kids in that she has that eye grabbing
"look" about her, moves very well and is very
balanced and forward.
She
was started under saddle in 2011 and will hopefully be
going down the trails in 2012.

Provocation
(Ensignia by
Concensus++++/ x Preilude by *Aladdinn)
2005 Bay Arabian Mare
A
maternal sister to Premavera, this filly has loads of
potential in the show ring and as a breeding animal. Her
sire is by the multi division National winner,
Concensus++++/
and a Champion Halter horse himself. She was shown
lightly as a yearling and won the Sport Horse In Hand
Mare class at the Empire Spring Show and the Tulip
Arabian Horse Show. Very flashy and a good mover,
she is a lot of fun.

(Cable Cowboy by *Bandos
x Premavera by *Gondolier)
2006 Grey Arabian Mare
Rose is out of the *Gondolier daughter, Premavera and her dam is by the
Leading Living Sire, *Aladdinn. Another lovely filly for halter, performance
and breeding.

Prima
Cometa
(Cognac
Amberfyre by Hennessy x Provocation by Ensignia)
2009 Grey filly
What an adventure this little gal started her life
with. Provocation had no clue what to do with a foal and
basically rejected her, so Cometa became our
"bucket" baby. She had the complete run of the
farm for 3 months.
She learned quite quickly where she was and was not
allowed, but after a bit figured she really wanted to be
with the "big" horses and snuck in with them
several times. She had us worried as they weren't
exactly accepting of her at first, but within a week it
was mostly sorted out, with Provocation being her
"buddy".
She is a beautiful mover, what we expected from the
cross, fluid, nice shoulder, good hip - loves to race
and show off. She will be shown Halter and broke to ride
prior to being bred.
